Don’t ask who is Anil Masih?
Now the whole country is aware of this name. He is the guy who committed unconstitutional sins by doing political theft in front of camera. Anil Masih is the name of the person who washed away the veil of morality from his face with unethical soap in front of the camera. Anil Masih is the name of that returning officer who returned the gift of officer-hood.
These observations can be inferred from the judgement of Supreme Court.
While ticking the ballot papers Anil Masih would look into camera, that meant he was well aware of this fact that his every movement were being recorded by the camera. From this, it can be inferred that he must have also realized that what he is doing could have negative consequences. However, without worrying about the results, he had already decided what he had to do.
After the Chandigarh mayoral election, another video of Anil Masih went viral, in which he was seen quickly pushing the winning candidate on the mayor’s chair, whom he had made victorious. By watching that video present on social media, you will get an idea of how eager and restless Anil Masih was to make that person the mayor of Chandigarh.
Interestingly, when the matter reached court, even that individual had an idea that the return gift given to him by Anil Masih would be taken away, so he immediately resigned.
Anil Masih has been a member of Bhartiya Janata Party since 2015. He represents the BJP Minority Front and regularly participates in all party programs. The 53-year-old Anil Masih has been a key member of the Bhartiya Janata Party’s Chandigarh unit for almost a decade. In recognition of his dedication to the BJP, the party appointed him as a councilor in the Chandigarh Municipal Council House in October 2022. That means he is nominated councilor.
In 2018, allegations were made against him during a meeting of Church of North India. He was accused of using derogatory language during a committee meeting. Additionally, he also spoke against the faith. Subsequently, he was prevented from participating in all church activities. However, two years later, permission to participate in church activities was reinstated by the CNI Bishop, Denzil Peoples.
